Player Safety
Stelor takes online children’s safety seriously - in fact the safety of your child online is central to all we do. From our newly developed login system, to our parent managed chat features, we will lead the way in securing your child online while providing the highest quality educational and entertainment content. Our online system is set up to filter abusive language, and to encourage children to report abusive behavior in while online. However, parents have the key role in ensuring their children use the Internet safely.
Some tips include:
- make sure your child understands that they should immediately turn off their computer if they feel threatened or uncomfortable
- make sure your child tells you if anyone online asks for their name or any personal information
- set up guidelines with your child on how long they can be online
- make sure your child understands they should never meet anyone in person they have met online without your permission
- keep your computers in locations where you can monitor them, and be aware of all computers your child may be using.
- keep all your online passwords safe and secure from children
- make sure your child’s screen name cannot identify them.

PiXkey®
Stelor takes children’s online safety seriously. One innovation on our site is PiXkey® a login system that lets children use pictures for passwords rather than letters or words. By using pictures, incredibly strong passwords are created easily - passwords that are protected against the most common forms of online password theft.

Manage your Children’s Account
You as the child’s parent play an integral role in managing your child’s online activities. To this end, you will be notified whenever a child requests to chat with another child (and your consent is required), and have the option to receive a weekly report on your child’s online activities. Nothing, however, replaces ongoing communication with your child about online safety.
